Sourced directly from the Masenga Hill region in Bujumbura, Burundi, this coffee is grown at an altitude of 1700 to 1900 meters above sea level. The coffee cherries are meticulously handpicked by local farmers who take great pride in their craft. The Red Bourbon varietal ensures a distinct and exceptional flavour profile.
The result is a clean, smooth cup that will leave your taste buds longing for more. With a cup score of 86, this coffee is truly a testament to the exceptional quality and craftsmanship involved in its production.

WHAT?
- Varietal: Red Bourbon
- Process: Washed
- Fold filter paper down the seam and place in v60.
- Rinse with warm or just boiled water
- Place 24g medium fine grind coffee into paper.
- Level off the grounds and form a small indent in the middle of coffee.
- Slowly pour 60g of 95 degree water onto the coffee. Make sure you do not pour onto the paper!
- Swirl bed and bloom for 1 min.
- Pour an additional 200g of water in a circular motion. Swirl the coffee again.
- Pour the remaining 140ml of water to make 400g total!
- Tap the v60 up and down to level the grounds.
