Costa Rica Tarrazu | Pineapple, Pink Lemonade, Peach

HOW? 

Another tasty all-rounder! Good as espresso and as filter, but this makes an excellent AeroPress. 

Our inverted AeroPress recipe: 
1. Set up your AeroPress inverted! 
2. Add 16g medium fine grinds 
3. Pour on 220g 95 degree water 
4. Stir 3-4 times. 
5. Rinse paper in top cap and screw in in. 
6. Brew for 2 minutes.
7. Carefully flip with cup included and slowly plunge for 30 seconds! 

WHY?

This coffee certainly is different - it's fruity but also slightly unusual, it's got a very unique taste and once you start drinking it, you won't want to stop! 

As well as being super tasty the coffee comes from The Coope Tarrazu. Founded in 1960, the co-op purchased Hacienda Tirra to start investing in coffee research and microlot production. This resulted in 60% of the farm being used for coffee production activities.

Currently, the coop offers free seeds and soil analysis for members as a way of encouraging reforestation of the local area in order to be more sustainable. For seasonal workers they offer free housing during harvest times, and festivals as a way of engaging and encouraging the continuation of their cultural heritage.

We roast all of our coffee beans in small batches - we want to make sure you get the best beans for your brew. This means we're roasting Monday to Friday so your caffeine delivery will contain coffee that is freshly roasted and ready to enjoy!
