We set out to create a capsule that tastes amazing at any time of the day, something you can enjoy at breakfast or with your evening meal. This is how we created the Daily Capsule range, an amazing hand selected coffee from a carefully curated group of smallholder family farms from the town of Timana in Colombia.
As always the coffee beans are speciality grade and expertly hand roasted by ourselves here in the small vibrant seaside town of Whitstable in Kent.
Our Smooth Journey capsules will make your home coffee taste like your sitting in one of our coffee shops, smooth and sweet with a hint of caramel when served in milk.
We roast the Daily Capsule range to work best with both the Espresso button (40ml) & Lungo (110ml), we think they taste their absolute best as a Flat White.

On this lot, the coffees were handpicked when the cherries reached full maturation, and the first batch was taken separately to the suspended beds “ African style”, when we dry coffees on suspended beds the air flows between the beans and the drying is more uniform, the beans are shuffled in timed periods varying between one and two hours, depending on the temperature on the day. This process takes around 23 days to complete. After the coffee reaches the desirable moisture content, they are taken to rest still in its dry skin for another 20 days. For that special lot of coffee beans 43 days worked best to produce amazing smooth results.
